Xorg Tips

Default xorg.conf

A default xorg.conf can be created with:

$ sudo Xorg -configure

This will create a xorg.conf.new file in the current directory. You can then tweak this and save as /etc/X11/xorg.conf.

Note that Xorg no longer requires an xorg.conf file and usually auto detects everything just fine.

'man Xorg' for more information.
