Clearing the Quick Search History

Delete the file ~/.claws-mail/quicksearch_history whilst Claws is not running.

Disabling use of NetworkManager

Change use_networkmanage=1 to use_networkmanager=0 in ~/.claws-mail/clawsrc whilst Claws is not running.

Setting Default Applications

Set default applications under Preferences->Message View->External Programs e.g. The following settings on a Debian system will use the values set by update-alternatives to select the web browser and editor.

External Program Setting

Web Browser x-www-browser '%s' Text Editor editor '%s'
